Implementation in the Republic of Uzbekistan
To implement the requirements of the Convention, the Republic of Uzbekistan established the Anti-Corruption Agency as the specially authorized state body responsible for developing and implementing the national anti-corruption policy. The Agency operates independently and coordinates preventive measures, the development of the compliance control system, anti-corruption monitoring, and cooperation with international organizations. The National Anti-Corruption Council also ensures coordination of the State’s anti-corruption policy.
