Implementation in the Republic of Uzbekistan
The Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes criminal liability for embezzlement, misappropriation, dissipation, and other unlawful use of property entrusted to a public official. Where the conduct does not constitute embezzlement, liability arises under other provisions of the Criminal Code concerning abuse of office, negligence, or violations of budgetary discipline.
